It’s Thursday morning. What’s the scene at your workplace?
I start my Thursday mornings with a massage with Redgie at Massage Body Works Spa. It’s one of the few times during the week I can truly relax and recharge. I usually come away from that time with a long list of to-dos for the day. I run a real estate team of 10, so once I get into the office, I can expect to see a handful of team members as we catch up on current escrows and upcoming listings. We’ve found a great balance between working from home and being in the office; it’s always nice to be together and feel that sense of camaraderie, not just within our team, but throughout the entire Compass brokerage.

What’s on the agenda for today?
Every day is different, which is one of the things I love most about real estate. Tuesdays are broker caravan days, so I’m usually all over the city touring new listings. Today, I have a listing appointment in Bel Air, and we just wrapped an all-company demo showcasing the latest tech and AI innovations Compass is rolling out.

Any restaurant plans today, tonight, this weekend?
Checking out new restaurants is one of my favorite things to do in Los Angeles, which truly has become one of the best restaurant cities in the entire country. I live in the Valley and hit BLVD in Sherman Oaks a few times a month. I love sitting at the bar there and ordering a martini and their crab cocktail. My go-to lunch spot during the week is Porta Via and lately I’ve been loving Dante on the Maybourne rooftop for post-work drinks or dinner. I’ve also been to RVR in Venice a few times recently, which has so many standout veggie dishes.

When I want to get a little more adventurous, I head to the Eastside. Budonoki in Virgil Village has such a fun vibe and always feels like a party. Their pressed sushi is killer and I love the charred sweet potato. Downtown, Holbox’s food really lives up to the hype, and you can never go wrong with Bavel in the Arts District. I could happily eat their baba ganoush and pita every day.

How about a little leisure or culture?
I bike every weekend from Calabasas through Westlake to Thousand Oaks or Malibu. Biking is therapeutic for me. It helps keep me sane. I try to get to a show at Largo at least once every few months. It’s one of my favorite venues in Los Angeles. I saw John Mulaney there a few months back. He’s so good. We often hit up the Hollywood Improv for standup, too. They have great lineups during the week.

Any weekend getaways?
My girlfriend has a house in Palm Springs and we go there often. The desert, the mountains, the midcentury architecture… we just love it. And I’m always up for a quick trip to Cabo for some relaxation, and excellent margaritas, of course. Lately, I’ve been staying at the Ritz Zadun. The rooms are stunning and the location is excellent. It’s super close to San Jose Del Cabo. I recently discovered a new breakfast spot called Lolita Cafe right off the main square. For dinner, Acre is a top pick. They use lots of produce from their farm in their dishes and I love the jungle atmosphere.

What was your last great vacation?
London and Greece. It was the perfect combination. We started with a few days of touring the city. We walked through so many fabulous neighborhoods, toured Buckingham Palace (which you can only do in the summer), and shopped. After that we relaxed on Crete for several days and ate tons of local seafood on the water every night.

What’s a recent big-ticket purchase you love?
I recently bought a Segway electric scooter to make it easier to get around our listings in Beverly Hills. Since our office and a lot of our listings are in the area, it’s honestly the quickest and most practical way to zip between showings. Plus, it’s fun!

Where are you donating your time or money?
There are a few organizations that are near and dear to my heart. Jewish Big Brothers and Sisters had a big impact on my life growing up. I was a Little Brother as a kid and later on became a Big Brother. Food on Foot is a charity I believe does a lot of good to help people get off the streets. And finally, Philozoia is a small, local animal rescue that saves less-adoptable dogs from high-kill shelters. We adopted an amazing senior dog from them last year and she’s changed our lives.
