Arriving at Taro Bunny — the salon nestled in a gated courtyard on Melrose — I felt underdressed. Waiting in the pristine entryway, I browsed a wall of nail colors next to a tall blonde woman wearing an enviable stack of layered gold and diamond necklaces. Just as my insecurity about my ill-fitting cardigan was cresting, I was whisked away to a private room by a sweet nail tech. Here, everyone’s given the same royal treatment.
