It’s Thursday morning. What’s the scene at your workplace?
On Thursday mornings, I drop my kids off at school and head straight to work to see my first patient at 9a. From there, it’s nonstop. I see anywhere from 18 to 22 patients every day, so my schedule is back-to-back. I like to pick up a latte from Alfred on my way in if there’s time. Right now, my favorite is a hot pumpkin spice latte (12 oz., triple shot, light syrup with oat milk, to be exact).
By the time I arrive at Routine, the team is ready and organized for the day, and the med spa always smells amazing when I walk in. We constantly get compliments on how clean and calm the space is and how good it smells — details that are extremely important to me. Currently, we’re burning scented candles, and we also have a signature scent that subtly runs through the ventilation system. Since my schedule’s so busy, small details in my surroundings help enhance my mood and energy.
What’s on the agenda for today?
I immediately hit the ground running from the moment I see my first patient, and it doesn’t stop until my day ends. If I happen to find myself with a little time to kill, I’ll film content for my Instagram, link products that my followers are asking about, squeeze in a business call, or check in with friends and family.
I’m in the process of building a bigger and better Routine that will be opening in the next few years. I’m building it from the ground up, working with an incredible design team. It’ll be like nothing else that exists here in LA, and I’m so excited to see my vision come to life.
Any restaurant plans today, tonight, this weekend?
My favorite restaurants are Madeo for great Italian food and a classy environment, Asanebo for the best sushi (order the off-menu “Anush Roll” if you go!), and any restaurant that’s not too loud and not too dark. I’ll take the early bird seating, please.
How about a little leisure or culture?
I’m big on creating and scheduling moments of self-care throughout my day (it’s not selfish, it’s necessary). I get my nails done once a week. I love lymphatic massages every so often. I see Micaela at FOUR Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage. She’s the best! You feel so much lighter and detoxed afterwards.
Any weekend getaways?
My favorite weekend getaway is Montecito. We like to stay at the Rosewood Miramar. It’s so relaxing, quaint, and beautiful that we rarely leave the beachside property.
What was your last great vacation?
Last winter, my husband and I went to Milan and Switzerland. In Switzerland, we stayed at Badrutt’s Palace in St. Moritz. We loved St. Moritz so much that we are actually going back again this year.
What’s a recent big-ticket purchase you love?
I recently got veneers from Dr. Sam Saleh and it’s the best thing I have ever spent money on. As someone who is incredibly picky, I am so happy and he is the best of the best.
Where are you donating your time or money?
An organization that is near and dear to me is my brother-in-law Dr. Arsen Osipov’s pancreatic cancer research fund through Cedars Sinai. Recently, I hosted an event with Beth Hutchens, the founder of one of my favorite jewelry brands, Foundrae (at her Melrose Place store) and all proceeds went towards Dr. Osipov’s research.
